This NEEDS to be a full song

All I can say, and I'm going to say, is that this rather small loop has all the potential it needs to be, like mentioned by other Newgrounders, a kick-ass beat.
I mean all ready while listening to this you just wanna rock the house, a full song, will make you want to shake up an entire city!
That's my word, as small as the song,

Darn...

OK, lets try to be constructive here:
First off, I totally agree with ezekial, this DOES sound like it was recorded in a tin can, which is really too bad because when you record well you have the possibility to drop a real atomic bomb of sound like you did with "Recording test" and even more with "Recording 2", and here this is very weak compared to your previous work, theres no bang... The guitar was good, but... when I listen too Small Things remake, you can also do better... don't get me wrong, you know that just as well as I do. Why do I bother to tell you this then? Because I am looking forward with great enthousiasme a mastered and recorded version of "Frontlines" that could be a real kick-as* beat...
I wish that one day that track will come to life.

This is an electro-magnetic trip towards the brain

This is for sure hip-hop, with some electro/techno influence that makes you feel like an electric discharge into the brain, sh*t man...
This insomnia periode of yours is maybe creating new genres, but otherwise it aint to good... Its true that we can feel a K-Dm feeling to it, with buzzed drums, and this is what we get! I don't know what to say appart this beat is really well done, and for an experimental track, sounds fine to me.
Keep rockin' and buzzin' Zajed, now get some sleep, turn that damn computer off...
Sincerely,

GX3

Zajed responds:

well actually i wanted to let it sound more ''fucked up'' to fit the title, but if i would have tried more things on it it probably would have ende completle fucked up lol

well expect more thingsl ike this im in eperimenting mood
thanks alot for the review

Just discovered you,...

and looks like I'm starting out good. I can see that you've got alot of mastered experience here, which is the best thing anyone would want after creativity and imagination. This beat sounds alot too me like Zajed, K-Dm and S-Rock. Check them out, they're so much into this sh*t.
Hihat (I think that's what it is) is THE best part in this entier song, drums were also good, and that orchestra was directed with dignity. Piano kicked ass with its dark ambiance. The guitar sounded good but reminded me too much of Goukisan, now I don't know if that's a good thing for you or not, but I'm not especially fond of it.
What I really like about these songs is that I imagine dark, urban, sin city, gangster style scenes, which for me is the top best.
The fact you got inspiration from TI's song Top Back (Which I also really like with Lil Wayne rapping on it) is very original for a song like this one, but we sure can feel Top Back in this one.
Hey man, keep working hard, check out Zajed, K-Dm and S-Rock, and I wish you luck for you to get the best as possible,

Yo the mastering was courtesy of Soundgoodizer. I can't use a compressor/limiter for my life. Other than that, I'll take cred for the effects added to the song. Thanks for the review man, this means a lot. It really does.

And Imma check these guys out too, see what that got and how I can improve my craft, u know?

And I don't know what goukisan is, I'll look it up tho.

BTW, orchestral is my normal style. there's no way I could go ahead with a beatt without using my original skillset.

Your drums and bass sure have improved

The real amazing thing in this song, is that quite massive change in your drums that sound more realistic and on your bass that brings and connects all the parts together and blows you away, I guess that with that bass we can sure excuse your laps of time between these last few songs.
If there's one thing I'm definitivly not sure of it's the speed and rythme of the main melody that was way better in your first version of Legends, and you can hear that very well in the very first seconds... Just feels way too slow, and too mechanic, like the authentic in it is possibly 0 percent. After the bass busts in, all you really keep in mind is the speed, which I have the impression works very good with the rest.
Those claps also work great, good job on those!
I guess the best way to describe what happens when you listen to Zajed is your picture from Fallout 3, *boom*.
Improvement and hard work is allways the best solution,

Variation from the Zajed

I'm not really gonna waste time here so you'll excuse-me...
well this is kind of small but, I don't know how much you know about rock songs, I'm NOT saying you don't know anything, but a really good rock song (in my opinion), doesn't really use a piano if it's not the little cr*py romantic sh*ty rock, know what I'm saying?
But appart that, I really have to tell you that the more active sounding guitar at 1:55 sounded very very good, and your having this said by a real rock fan, let me tell you that. The calm guitar in my opinion was also very good, if not sometimes "masked" by the piano...but I'm not too sure about that remark, so you'll judge by your own I guess.
I think that pretty much does it, really good guitars, although a small piano intruder, but appart that, oh, the drums were awesome like allways. And the melody was... very Zajed like, heheh.
Keep it going, get better, and if you need any real rock advice (I don't make, but I listen closely...) gimme a shout.

I do thing making it longer would improve...

but this the real stuff, I think this song is really cool, maybe a little short, but you feel in the motion. I also really like that sort of video gamish feeling to it, which is goes really good with it. I have the impression that in this song we refind the feeling of your song "Escape", like I said, video gamish, pulse pumping, action packed, and perfect for a dark urban action scene. If you don't understand all, I'm sorry, maybe a little too much into this song.
Keep it going,

GX3

Welcome back!

For a welcome back song, this one kicks royal ass man.
What I love in this song, is the hardcore drums, beat and rythm, all that hardcore together is splendid! Those drum beats at 00:17 are the kind that blow up, and I love that... What's kind of unusual for you is this kind of music, paragonx9ish, feel what I'm saying? But I love it, and we still manage to feel that Zajed touch to it, fantastic work on that.
To answer your feedback request, I certainly needs extending, but like this I think it kicks enough ass to consider it good, so, a little extension, but with that and a TINY bit of variation around the melody like that it won't sound too repetitive, the song is a little beauty.

GX3

A variant mix?

Allmost sounds like some of your usual good, beat feelin' hip hop music, with sonic style arcade sounds... So it does give it a little arcade feelin' to it, but it works ok though, its not bad, sure sounds like preview because you can feel its not finished.
What kind of diseapointed me is that more towards the 2nd part of the song, the arcade, has a way to massive presence, ending up in you having the impression your listening to a video game song when you were expecting hip hop, its not bad, but arcade is well, getting involved to much, know what I'm saying?

Anyway this is just my feedback, and its your song, so do whatever you want with it,

GX3

This song is really unbelievable

I think what makes the song so good, is the sudden guitar, which has such a cool feeling to it followed by the piano, also I think your guitars are better than Zajed's (don't get me wrong, Zajed's guitars are great...) theres something in them, a certain dark, gangster type, movie genre feeling to it. I also agree with AeraDynamic the piano is great as usual. In addition to that, each instrument you use sounds extremly professional, great job.

I sure hope you keep going Kyle, your stuff is great,

K-Dm responds:
